Winston Peters
Interim President
Winston Peters serves as Interim President of the Bronx Economic Development Corporation (BXEDC), where he leads the organization’s mission to drive investment, foster inclusive growth, and expand access to capital for Bronx-based entrepreneurs and small businesses. A champion of equitable economic development, Winston brings nearly two decades of experience in business strategy, entrepreneurship, and community engagement to his role.
Before being appointed Interim President, Winston served as Treasurer of the BXEDC Board of Directors, where he provided financial oversight and strategic guidance during a period of significant growth and impact. In this capacity, he helped strengthen BXEDC’s partnerships across the public and private sectors, enhance its lending programs, and expand opportunities for local businesses to access critical financial resources. His leadership continues to reflect a deep understanding of how capital, collaboration, and creativity work together to drive sustainable development.
Beyond his role at BXEDC, Winston is deeply involved in higher education and entrepreneurial development. He currently serves as Program Coordinator for Entrepreneurs@MC and Adjunct Professor in the O’Malley School of Business at Manhattan College, where he designs and teaches courses that connect students with real-world innovation, applied ethics, and community-focused entrepreneurship. He also serves as an Adjunct Instructor at Stevens Institute of Technology, where he helps students and emerging leaders translate ideas into action through innovation management and business development.
Winston is also the Founder and Director of Project Management at MyÜberLife Consulting Group, a multidisciplinary consultancy he has led for nearly two decades. Through this work, he has guided companies, creators, and nonprofit organizations in building brands, developing growth strategies, and leveraging culture and community as engines for impact.
As Interim President, Winston continues to lead BXEDC with a vision rooted in partnership, innovation, and opportunity. His work centers on expanding economic mobility, supporting small business growth, and ensuring that the Bronx’s entrepreneurs have the resources and networks they need to thrive. A proud New Yorker with deep ties to the Bronx, Winston believes in leading with purpose—advancing an economy that is not only stronger, but more inclusive and sustainable for all.
