Kimberly Guzman

Director of Marketing and Communications

Kimberly Guzman is the Director of Marketing Communications for the Bronx Economic Development Corporation (BXEDC), where she leads strategic marketing and communications efforts that elevate the organization’s mission, programs, and impact throughout the borough.

A proud Colombian American born and raised in the Bronx, Kimberly brings more than 10 years of experience in marketing, branding, and digital communications. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in New Media from SUNY Purchase College, with minors in Journalism, Italian, and Arts Management. Her expertise spans graphic design, photography, videography, content creation, social media strategy, branding, event marketing, and visual storytelling.

Before joining BXEDC, Kimberly launched and led the Marketing Department at New Settlement, where she developed the organization’s first comprehensive marketing strategy. Through creative campaigns, compelling visual content, and data-driven social media initiatives, she helped expand the nonprofit’s reach to more than 17,000 community members while supporting programs focused on education, workforce development, youth services, health, and community engagement.

Driven by a passion for storytelling and community impact, Kimberly is committed to using marketing as a tool to celebrate the Bronx, amplify local voices, and create meaningful connections between organizations and the communities they serve. Outside of work, she is an avid content creator, cosplayer, and podcast host who enjoys blending creativity, pop culture, and digital media.
