BXEDC promotes the borough through The Bronx Tourism Council (BTC). Established in 1991, BTC creates cohesive and symbiotic relationships between arts and culture and economic development. Its role is to promote the borough’s rich history, its institutions, and cultural diversity on a local, national, and international level.

The BXEDC is pleased to announce the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the development of The Bronx Walk of Fame App!
We invite qualified developers to submit their proposals for this exciting project aimed at celebrating and promoting the rich cultural heritage of The Bronx.
The Bronx Walk of Fame App is intended to provide users with an interactive and engaging experience, highlighting the notable individuals who have been honored along The Bronx Walk of Fame. The app should feature biographies, multimedia content, and a map of the Walk of Fame locations, along with other interactive elements to enhance the user experience and should be easily downloadable on the App Store and Play Store. More information is attached in the RFP below.
