Jonathan Tran

 Jonathan Tran is joining BXEDC this summer as a Capital Access Intern. He is currently pursuing a Finance degree at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business, where he has been recognized as a Woolworth Scholar and Faber Award recipient.

Jonathan brings an impressive mix of experience in private equity and venture capital, having worked with firms like Intermountain Succession Capital and BestB Capital in Vietnam. He has conducted deal sourcing, built financial models, and participated in investment analysis for acquisition and growth-stage opportunities. He also has a strong background in research and international market strategy and has authored peer-reviewed articles on financial performance and valuation trends.

At BXEDC, Jonathan will support the capital access work by conducting client interviews and analyzing financial documents for micro, SBA 7A, and SBA 504 loans. He will also assist with loan pipeline analysis, technical assistance strategies, and new investment tools being developed to better serve Bronx-based businesses. Additionally, he will support the Chief Financial Officer in revising related templates on Excel and undertaking assigned administrative tasks.< Back to all Staff
